Rode Space Mountain twice. The ride was pretty smooth (still very shaky but was much worse in the past). Effects have very bright projections and lights now, looks great.

18:16

Have filmed the whole ride-through with the new effects, hope it turns out well (it’s still a very dark ride!). Will upload it to YouTube soon: Disneyland Paris Treasures on YouTube

Space Mountain’s outside and queue line look great, but no changes or additions

  1. I love your work and I can’t wait to ride Space Mountain again, with the new trains in 2017

  2. Just back off holiday and our visit to DLP. Lucky enough to attend on the 23rd as we were there already anyway. Really enjoyed your pics and run down of the event and always interesting to read some else take on proceedings. Would love to see what that camera man filmed – we were sitting in the last ‘carriage’ as he filmed us leave the loading area!

  3. Last but not least, a “Single rider” line is now offered to guests who travel alone to the limits of space. Space Mountain will continue to be renovated in 2017, with new trains for an increasingly immersive adventure.

  4. The Event was awesome… Thanks to all ! Nice live-Blog.
Can’t wait to ride it again.

Next Time wie have to shake hands. Disneyland Paris Treasures

  5. Thank you for covering the event, Nicolai! I hope the Attraction looks fresher than before. The first thing I want to do when I get to DLP is to go through the Single Rider queue and straight under the Columbiad. Can’t wait to see the final result after the Phase Two of the refurbishment.
