Today the Disneyland Paris Treasures blog invites you to an extended walk-through photo tour of the beautiful new Disneyland Paris Ratatouille area, which recently opened in Walt Disney Studios Park, on 10 July 2014. On this tour, we will visit each and every corner of this wonderful new area that puts you right into a romanticized and very ‘Pixar-esque’ Parisian quarter.
The route we will be taking during this photo tour:
Today on 10th July 2014 Disneyland Paris officially inaugurated “Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy” (or “Ratatouille: The Adventure” as it is called in English). For the ceremony Disneyland Paris welcomed Fleur Pellerin, Secretary of Commerce, of Tourism Promotion and of the French abroad. During the inauguration, Fleur Pellerin welcomed “this new investment in our territory that included 44 French companies, of which 34 from the Ile-de-France region and 11 from Seine-et-Marne, and to create 200 new permanent jobs, not to mention the nearly 4000 French artisans who worked on the project. The attraction which, like the movie, places Paris, its cuisine and its know-how on the frontline, is an asset for our tourism appeal.”
The brand new, much-anticipated 150 million-euro Walt Disney Studios Park “E Ticket” dark ride Ratatouille: L’aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy doesn’t officially open until 12 July 2014 but Disneyland Paris has invited the Disneyland Paris Treasures blog to attend a special preview event and the entire experience will be live blogged right here, exclusively for the followers of the Disneyland Paris Treasures Blog!
The event schedule contains an extended visit to the whole Ratatouille mini-land and Place de Rémy, several sneak peek ride-throughs of the new Ratatouille: L’aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy attraction and a lunch at Bistrot Chez Rémy.
And here we go, the Liveblog of the “Ratatouille” preview event happens right here, right now! Liveblog updates happen below and will refresh automatically. So just scroll down, sit back, and enjoy the event.
Happy New Year everyone! Here’s to a happy, healthy, peaceful and prosperous 2014 for you and yours.
2013 certainly has been an exciting year for Disneyland Paris fans, starting with the new “Brave” and “The Lion King” scenes being added to the original Disney Dreams, an amazing Halloween season with beautiful decorations and great entertainment (like the brand new Mickey’s Halloween Celebration Parade), a spectacular Enchanted Christmas season (which is still in full swing until 6th of January!), featuring a brand new Christmas tree, a new Magical Christmas Wishes tree lighting ceremony and a great new Christmas Cavalcade and of course the amazing, totally new Disney Dreams! of Christmas nighttime spectacular! Last but not least might I humbly add to that list that 2013 also saw the launch of the Disneyland Paris Treasures blog 😉
2014 promises to be an even more important year, as this year will at last see the opening of Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, the brand new, much-anticipated 150 million-euro Walt Disney Studios Park dark ride!
